- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I almost literally stumbled into Bigg Smoak Bbq on the next to the last day of a three-month bicycle tour from Mexico to Winnipeg. I spent nearly four weeks of the trip in Texas and had some good barbecue, but I think the best was in the unlikely little town of Grunthal, Manitoba. Owner Rob knows a few things about barbecue, and he has the awards to prove it. Bigg Smoak was a real find.By Bill Pierce, March 07, 2017
